ARE THERE DIRECT FLIGHTS INTO OAXACA CITY?
Obviously it depends on where you’re traveling from but likely not. You will have to pass through LA, Miami, Mexico City or somewhere in Texas.
WHAT IS THE DISTANCE FROM OAX AIRPORT TO THE CITY CENTER OF OAXACA?
About 20 minutes by car.
DO I NEED A RENTAL CAR?
We do not recommend renting a car. Shuttling from the airport and walking/taking taxis around the city is the best form of transport. The city is very walkable. You can arrange your own transportation/tours by contacting: conoce_oaxaca@hotmail.com
IS THERE UBER IN OAXACA CITY?
No, there is not yet Uber - taxis, shuttles and buses only.
WHERE SHOULD I STAY?
We recommend booking a hotel or AirBnB in Oaxaca City. Please check out the tab “accommodations” for more information on hotels. This is just a suggested list but there are tons of boutique hotels located in the city center. The wedding party will be staying at Hotel Sin Nombre for reference if you want to try to stay close by to Ryan and Elle.
WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE IN APRIL?
Moderate temperature, daily high is around 87 degrees and rarely falls below 80. Evening temps cool down to 62 degrees. There is always a chance for rain so be prepared!
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO THE WEDDING?
Tropical Cocktail Attire! Think vibrant + colorful. Mood boards to come ;) Ladies, most of the property is dirt and the streets in Oaxaca City are cobblestone so keep that in mind if considering heels.
CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN?
We love your kiddos but unfortunately no kids allowed. We are allowing for immediate family only to bring children.

IS IT SAFE TO DRINK THE WATER IN OAXACA?
Water quality in Mexico, as you know, is highly concerning. Please always consume bottled water and avoid drinking the water at all costs.
